A seasoned leader, Sylvain Nolet has distinguished himself throughout his career by his ability to define and implement impactful strategies, mobilize teams, and deliver sustainable results. Prior to his appointment as Executive Vice-President and Leader, Value Creation, he served as Vice-President, Commercial Insurance, within the Property and Casualty Insurance Corporate Executive Division. He has worked in the Property and Casualty Insurance sector for over 30 years, both in Canada and Europe.
A graduate of Concordia University with a bachelor’s degree in actuarial mathematics, Sylvain is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA) and the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS). Known for his rigorous and collaborative approach, he excels at simplifying complex issues and deploying innovative, pragmatic solutions that generate sustainable value.
Actively involved in the business community, he served on the board of directors of the Conseil du patronat du Québec, where he held the position of Vice-President. He also chaired its Audit and Risk Management Committee.
