Andy Taylor
Executive Vice-President and Leader, Property and Casualty Insurance, Ontario and West
Andy Taylor is Executive Vice-President and Leader, Property and Casualty Insurance, Ontario and West, following the merger of Beneva and Gore Mutual. In this role, he has overall accountability for Gore Mutual and Unica as the organizations continue their integration.
Andy previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Gore Mutual from 2020 to 2025, following eight years as Chief Financial Officer. A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, he combines strong financial expertise with proven leadership. At Gore Mutual, he led the successful transformation of one of Canada’s oldest mutual insurance companies.
Highly engaged in his industry, Andy serves as Chair of the Board of the Institute for Catastrophic Loss Reduction (ICLR) and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Property and Casualty Insurance Compensation Corporation (PACICC).
