On January 1, 2023, La Capitale General Insurance Inc. changed its name to Beneva Insurance Company. Rest assured that your current contract won’t change. You continue to benefit from the same coverage and your claims are processed as usual. No action is required on your part.
On January 1, 2023, your P&C insurance policy underwritten by SSQ, Life Insurance Company Inc. and its renewal were transferred to Beneva Insurance Company. Rest assured that your current contract won’t change. You continue to benefit from the same coverage and your claims are processed as usual. No action is required on your part. Until December 31, 2022, Beneva Insurance Company was known as La Capitale General Insurance Inc.
On January 1, 2023, La Capitale Civil Service Insurer Inc. and SSQ, Life Insurance Company Inc. combined operations to become Beneva Inc., your new life and health insurer. Rest assured that doesn’t change your coverage, claims, disability insurance or investments, and no action is required on your part.

On January 1, 2023, Beneva Inc. transferred its mutual fund brokerage business to its subsidiary, Beneva Investment Services Inc. This doesn’t change your investments or business relationship with your financial security advisor. Your advisor is now a Beneva Investment Services Inc. partner for the distribution of mutual funds. No action is required on your part.
