Logging in for the first time

Having trouble logging in to your Client Centre account or can’t see all your products? We’re here to help.

Former SSQ clients

If you were insured by SSQ Insurance, your SSQ Customer Centre account was probably transferred and you don’t have to create a new account.

To find out, pick the scenario that matches your situation and follow the log in instructions.

 

You don’t have to create a new account. 

Your SSQ account was automatically transferred to your Beneva Client Centre account.

You don’t have to create a new account.

Your SSQ account has already been transferred to Beneva. Use the same email and password as before to log in to your Beneva Client Centre account. Beneva.

You must create a Beneva Client Centre account.

Head over to beneva.ca, click Log in at the top of your screen, then select Clients. Click the Create your account button and follow the instructions.

You don’t have to create a new account. 

Your Beneva account stays the same. Any SSQ accounts you had (Customer Centre or Secure Investment Site) were transferred over to Beneva. Use the same email and password to log in to your Beneva Client Centre account.

You don’t have to create a new account. 

Even if you were an SSQ client more recently, your La Capitale account prevails and is the one that was transferred. Use the same email and password that you had for your La Capitale Client Centre account to log in to your Beneva Client Centre account.

Log in

For security reasons, your account will be locked for 30 minutes after too many failed login attempts.

After 30 minutes, before you try to log in again, we suggest you reset your password by going to Forgot your password?.

It’s a way to safely secure your account. When two-step verification is enabled, we will verify your identify using both your password and a code sent by text message each time you log in.

Check the box “Don’t ask again on this device” if you don’t want to receive a code each time you log in to the same device.

If you’re able to log in to your account:

On beneva.ca

  1. Log in
  2. Open your Profile in the top-right corner to display the menu and select Security and Login
  3. On the Email line, go to Modify and follow the steps

On mobile app

  1. Log in
  2. Go to the More option in the bottom right and select Security and Login
  3. On the Email line, go to Modify and follow the steps

If you’re unable to log in to your account:

Call our Technical Support at 1 855-747-2233. They can change your email by phone.

The confidentiality and security of our clients’ personal data is our priority. That’s why the same email address cannot be linked to more than one account. Each person must have their own account and their own email for the Client Centre.

On beneva.ca

  1. Log in
  2. Open your Profile in the top-right corner to display the menu and select Security and Login
  3. On the Password line, go to Modify and follow the steps

On mobile app

  1. Log in
  2. Go to the More option in the bottom right and select Security and Login
  3. On the Password line, go to Modify and follow the steps

Display products

Most Client Centre accounts were transferred when we combined our digital services together. However, it’s possible that some of your products aren’t automatically displaying in your account. If this is your situation, you can add them manually.

On beneva.ca

  1. Log in
  2. On the My products page at the bottom, go to the Request to display a product box and select Make a request
  3. Follow the steps

On mobile app

  1. Log in
  2. In the box at the top of the page that starts with Missing product?, select Make a request
  3. Follow the steps

Here are a few possible explanations:

For a group insurance product

Only the member who has employer-provided insurance can see the product in their account. Their dependents or beneficiaries cannot see the contract or make a claim from their account.

For a car, home or recreational vehicle insurance product

  • You can use the policy number of your former SSQ product BEFORE your renewal. It’s only found on the invoice that you received in the mail. If you don’t have your invoice on hand, call our customer service at 1 855 747-7712.
  • You have to be one of the people directly insured by a product to be able to see that product in your account. If you pay for a product, but are not insured by it, you cannot see it in your account.

If you see none of your products in your account

It may happen that some of the information used to log you in doesn’t match your file, therefore our system doesn’t recognize you.

For SSQ Insurance clients

  • If you didn’t already have a Beneva Client Centre account: your SSQ Customer Centre account was transferred to us. Use the same email and password as before to log in to your Beneva Client Centre account.
  • If you already had a Beneva Client Centre account: your SSQ Customer Centre account was automatically transferred to your Beneva Client Centre account. Log in as usual to your Beneva account and all your products should be displayed there.

For clients who were insured with La Capitale:

La Capitale became Beneva. Use the same email and password as before to log in.

If you still can’t see all your products in your account after all these checks, call our customer service at 1 855 747-2233 and an agent can investigate the issue.
