1941

La Mutuelle des Employés civils, that would eventually become La Capitale, is founded.

1944

Coopérative de Santé de Québec is founded.

1976

La Capitale’s first subsidiary, La Capitale General Insurance Inc., is founded.

1986

SSQ, General Insurance Company Inc. is founded.

2020

La Capitale and SSQ Insurance join forces.

2023

It's official! Beneva becomes the insurer, distributor and employer.

2026

Beneva and Gore Mutual combine operations.
