
Marjolaine Perreault
Director
Marjolaine Perreault holds a degree in political science from Université Laval. She has more than 12 years of experience in management positions. Previously Director of Communications at the Centrale des syndicats du Québec, she has been its General Manager since 2018. Previously, she held the position of Chief of Staff to the ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur, de la Recherche, de la Science et de la Technologie.
She is committed to the defense of accessible, high-quality public education and promotes solidarity, social justice, advocacy and cooperation. She has served on the Executive Board of Éducation Internationale (EI) since 2018, as well as on EI's Status of Women Committee. Ms. Perreault is a member of the Grand Jury projet par excellence - Forces AVENIR universitaire.
Ms. Perreault worked for many years in the Government of Quebec as assistant press attaché in the office of Premier Jacques Parizeau, as communications advisor and press attaché at the ministère d'État, du Travail et de l'Emploi, the ministère de la Culture et des Communications responsable de la Charte de la langue française, the ministère de la Sécurité publique and communications advisor and press attaché of the Réforme électorale et parlementaire. She has also worked at the National Assembly.
Her desire to get involved with Beneva and its mutual aligns with her social and political commitment, as well as her interest in the values they stand for: democratic decision-making by members, mutual aid, equity and commitment.
