Jean-François Bureau

Director

Mr. Jean François Bureau holds master’s degrees in finance from both Université Laval and York University, and is a CFA charterholder.

He began his career at the Royal Bank of Canada as a commercial lending manager, eventually moving on to multinational lending. He then joined Groupe Videotron, where he served as Interim Vice-President – Investor Relations before taking on the role of Vice-President – Corporate Projects and M&A. Active in the financial investment sector, he has worked with EdgeStone Capital Partners, Cable Satisfaction International, the National Bank of Canada, and DiagnoCure.

Until 2025, Mr. Bureau served for fifteen years as Senior Vice President – Chief Risk Officer at PSP Investments. He also held the position of Chief Financial Officer at PSP Investments during the final five years of his tenure at the institution.

Leveraging his expertise, Mr. Bureau has been imparting his knowledge in investment, portfolio management and valuation as well as governance through his involvement on various boards of directors, including Revera Inc. and PKF O’Connor Davies. He also serves on Dentressangle’s Strategic Committee. In the past, Mr. Bureau was actively involved with the CFA Institute.

Mr. Jean François Bureau joined the Board of Directors of Beneva Group in March 2026.
