Patrick Cyr

As Executive Vice-President and Leader, Integration, Patrick Cyr’s mandate is to integrate La Capitale’s and SSQ Insurance’s operations in order to deliver value to the shareholders, members and employees. From the start, he has played a major role in the creation of Beneva and bringing the two companies together. The former Senior Vice-President of Finance at SSQ Insurance since 2011, his 25 years of experience at SSQ Insurance have given him in-depth knowledge of the company, its workings and the industry. He has held several management positions in various sectors of the company and has overseen many major projects.

Patrick graduated from Université Laval with a bachelor’s degrees in business administration and accounting. He is also a Chartered Accountant (CA) and Associate of LOMA Society (ACS). He belongs to the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec (CPA – CA) and was named a Fellow of the Order in 2019.

He is known for his leadership qualities, diligence and strategic business vision.

Patrick serves as secretary-treasurer on the SOCODEVI Foundation’s Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Fondation Aléo.
