Vice-President of the National Executive Committee of APTS since 2021, Émilie Charbonneau brings strong expertise in organizational development and strategic planning. Recognized for her political acumen and transformational leadership, she effectively mobilizes teams and guides decision-making toward sustainable and impactful outcomes. She is also valued for her ability to generate meaningful proposals and unite stakeholders around shared goals.

Ms. Charbonneau has completed multiple professional training programs in intervention, including cooperation, power and action dynamics, working with challenging personalities, and budget management.

A social worker within Québec’s health and social services network since 2011, Ms. Charbonneau has extensive field experience across psychosocial services, home care, and psychiatry, providing her with a deep understanding of frontline realities.

She seeks to bring to the Board of Directors of Beneva Mutual her practical experience, strong awareness of social and environmental issues, keen interest in the evolution of digital technologies and their impact on people, and a firm commitment to democratic, transparent, and responsible governance.
