Yes. As with any other vehicle, insurance is mandatory to drive in Quebec. A minimum of $50,000 in civil liability coverage is required.

That depends on the specific model and its features. Since vehicles have different components, that can impact how much it costs to insure them. Even two electric vehicles may not cost the same to insure.
