December 7, 2023

Montreal, December 7, 2023 – Courons Montréal, the organizer of the Beneva Montreal Marathon, is proud to confirm the renewal of Beneva as the title partner of its event until 2027.

"This fantastic partnership contributes to making the Beneva Montreal Marathon the largest gathering of runners in Québec and one of the most coveted in Canada," says Sébastien Arsenault, CEO of Courons Montréal. "Beneva has been a partner from the beginning, supporting us since 2020. Their team demonstrates commendable commitment. The human values conveyed by Beneva align perfectly with our priority of placing the runners' experience at the heart of our actions. Together, we will continue to get people moving in an increasingly optimal and friendly context."

"The renewal of our agreement as the title partner of the Beneva Montreal Marathon not only allows us to share our mutualistic values but also to contribute to an offering of sports events accessible to all, while ensuring a presence and giving back to the community through the charitable aspect of the event," mentions Martin Robert, Executive Vice-President and Leader – Talent, culture, and communication at Beneva. "This renewal strengthens Beneva's positioning focused on well-being and the adoption of healthy lifestyle habits, and we are very proud of it."

Heartfelt support

This year, the Marathon’s Run with Heart charity component supported 60 organizations, more than twice as many as last year, by dedicating participation in the event's challenges to their fundraising efforts. With the support of participants, these organizations have collectively raised over $400,000. To maximize the positive impact of the event and encourage organizations in their fundraising, the Beneva Grants program awarded $25,000 to the organizations with the most successful fundraising campaigns.

Beneva's commitment and values are also evident on race days: personalized messages of encouragement sent by supporters were displayed on a strategically placed giant screen along the course, specifically in the final kilometers before the finish line. The energy conveyed to the runners was palpable. Beneva also provided a relaxation area cat the finish line, welcoming the runners to catch their breath and savor their achievement."
