Beneva becomes title sponsor of the Mississauga Marathon
Mississauga, October 12, 2023 - The Mississauga Marathon is pleased to announce that it has reached a partnership making Beneva the title sponsor of the Mississauga Marathon for the next four years. In addition to the Beneva Quebec City and Montreal marathons, the insurer’s sponsorship portfolio will include the Mississauga Marathon, starting with the next edition on April 28, 2024.
The Beneva Mississauga Marathon will once again host the prestigious 42.2K distance and also offer runners of all levels, from families to seasoned athletes, the 5K, 10K, 21.1K. The addition of the full marathon provides Ontario runners a new option for the Spring running season, with a focus on professional execution delivering a rewarding and safe participant experience.

We evolved and enhanced the Mississauga race weekend in 2023, by moving the Start, Finish and Festival to Celebration Square in the heart of the city. This also meant re-creating the Novo Nordisk 5K, 10K and half marathon routes. We are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for our runners, and felt we needed to shelve the full marathon distance in 2023 until we had a suitable route confirmed with adequate City and sponsor support. We have worked with city officials to create a fast, scenic, and downhill route that will serve as a Boston Qualifier."
