Future retirees

If you currently have group insurance with us: You don’t have to do anything right now. We’ll mail you everything you need for your AREF and group insurance enrolment, including steps to take, as soon as your employer gives us the heads up that you’re about to retire.

If you currently have group insurance with another insurer: Contact AREF as soon as you know when you’re retiring. They’ll provide all the necessary information you’ll need to proceed.
