Activate two-step authentication

Your personal information deserves to be protected. Adding a second authentication step to your Client Centre account login does exactly that. Even if your password is compromised, your account remains secure.

What is two-step authentication?

It’s an additional security measure designed to confirm that you are the person accessing your Client Centre account.

When you log in, you will be asked to provide the following to confirm your identity:

  • Your password
  • A unique security code sent by text message

The code expires after 15 minutes. You can request a new one, if necessary.

Two-step authentication blocks unauthorized access to your account, in the event that your password was compromised.

  • When logging in to the Client Centre
  • In the Security and Login section of your account

Not always. You can flag your device as trustworthy to avoid having to enter a code every time.

Do so by:

  • Ticking the Never ask me on this device option on the login screen
  • Activating the biometrics feature in the Beneva app

Important! Avoid flagging a public or shared device.

In order, try:

  1. Requesting a new one using the Send a new code option on the login screen
  2. Checking your signal
  3. Checking your blocked texts
