Data privacy according to the number of claimants
Prescription drug consumption is classified as sensitive data so strict privacy protocols are embedded in reports to ensure the protection of plan members’ personal information.
Access to information varies based on the number of claimants in a selected period:
Fewer than 5 claimants:
- No report available
Between 5-19 claimants:
- Prescription drug consumption summary
- Prescription drug consumption by drug type
- Prescription drug consumption covered by the RAMQ provincial public plan (Quebec only)
Between 20-49 claimants:
- Prescription drug consumption summary
- Prescription drug consumption by drug type
- Prescription drug consumption covered by the RAMQ provincial public plan (Quebec only)
- Prescription drug consumption by top 25 therapeutic classes
- Top 10 most consumed drugs
Between 50-599 claimants:
- Prescription drug consumption summary
- Prescription drug consumption by certificate
- Prescription drug consumption by drug type
- Prescription drug consumpition by insured type
- Prescription drug consumption by age group
- Prescription drug consumption covered by the RAMQ provincial public plan (Quebec only)

From 500 claimants and up:

The Report of Claims by Covered Item provides all the details regarding the number of claims, and the amounts of submitted, eligible and paid claims under each clause.
The benefits report by certificate gives you a detailed view of claims: number of claims and submitted, eligible, and paid amounts, whether for drugs, health or dental care.
You have two options:
- Simplified: data presented in table format, by amount range and type of insured person.
- Detailed: information presented by plan member.
The Report of Claims by Certificate and Covered Item provides information on the number and amount of submitted, eligible and paid claims.
