How do you extend your children’s student status?
Your children are still in school and you’d like them to continue to be covered under your insurance. How do you go about it with Beneva? We’ll explain it all here.
Key criteria for extending student status
First of all, you can extend your children’s student status if they:
- Are your dependents
- Study full-time
- Attend a recognized educational institution
How to notify us
The procedure is slightly different if you were covered with La Capitale or SSQ Insurance before Beneva was created.
If you were covered with La Capitale
No special action is required of you.
If you were covered with SSQ Insurance
To extend your children’s student status, log in to your Client Centre to update your profile.
Beneva
La Capitale and SSQ Insurance become Beneva
That means a whole lot more good people have you covered!
