Gaétan Morin

Gaétan Morin was President and Chief Executive Officer of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ from 2014 until 2021.
He joined the Fonds in 1989; he held various positions including Senior Vice-President of Natural Resources and Consumer Goods, and Executive Vice-President of Corporate Development and Investment.
He holds a master’s degree in economic geology from Université du Québec à Montréal, which he completed after earning undergraduate degrees in finance and geology. In 2005, he was awarded the Prix Mérite Ressources by the Ordre des géologues du Québec.
